Loire valley
The Loire Valley is studded with storybook villages, quaint towns, and bien sûr, the famous châteaux de la Loire. It’s a fairy tale come to life. The place has succeeded so remarkably in keeping that majestic beauty alive that UNESCO declared the area a World Heritage site in 2000. Part of its ongoing magic is the region’s gentle pace of life, we look forward to sharing its hidden gems with you.

Loire Valley, with the kids
The Loire Valley, also knows as the “Garden of France” is a wonderful place to explore for both kids and adults alike. Having personally guided biking trips in the Loire, I can tell you that the kids will love it for the canoeing down the Loire River, swordplay, ropes course, horseback riding, to name a few … While the parents will love it for the stunning countryside (with endless fields of sunflowers), the great food, storybook villages, fantastic biking (along small country roads perfect for biking) and accommodations in fairytaleesque luxury chateaux. The Loire Valley has the longest wine route in France with some 800 km of trails and tracks for oenophiles to follow. With magic at every curve, I highly recommend the Loire Valley as a fantastic fairy tale trip for your next family adventure (activities recommended for ages 5yrs and up).
